Scottish Ski Club Racing
Scottish Ski Club’s ski racing program provides training & racing opportunities to young skiers. SSC Racing has for many years developed racers who have gone all the way to the Olympic Games & World Cup circuit, including recently retired British #1 Charlie Guest. From the famed Cairngorm Mountain to the Alps and beyond, SSC provides racers with not just the skiing skills to compete against the best in the country, but also with fantastic experiences & opportunities travelling the country and the world to take part in the sport they love.
Whether you’re brand new to ski racing or you’re a national team athlete, SSC race training is for you.
SSC Racing is open to all good skiers who can ski the whole mountain (all grades of piste) and use all kinds of uplift.
We train on Scottish snow whenever we can, as it provides a fantastic environment to get more snow skiing experience. It is ideal for all good skiers, particularly those who have done some race training on a dry slope.
For those that want a bit more, come overseas with us and experience training & racing in Europe. Our program has plenty of training opportunities and follows the British BASS racing calendar.
Cairngorm Training
Training runs on Scottish snow whenever it can. Open to all U10-U16s, with U8s taken on a trial basis.
Coach support is also provided at snow races.
Alpine Camps
Overseas training & racing opportunities open to U10-U16 skiers with racing experience.
It’s the perfect chance for young racers to take it to the next level.
Hillend Summer Sundays
New for summer 2025!
Conquering Hillend is without a doubt the toughest part of the ski racing summer season. Our training sessions, 2-4pm on select Sundays May-Sep, are small, so the quality is high. We train a mix of drills & full-length courses.
Coaching
All our coaches are fully qualified, first-aid trained and PVG checked. They are experienced, passionate, and here to help young athletes get the most out of their skiing!
We also help new coaches ‘up the ladder’ to gain experience and qualifications.

About Seeding Systems

Every ‘registered’ racer starts their career with 999.99 ‘list’ points in each discipline […]
