SSC Racing Alpine Camps
SSC’s overseas training & racing opportunities in Europe are open to all club members with racing experience, and suitable for U10-U18 age groups. Club membership is open to all and just £27.50 annually – see here. These camps are complemented by our Scottish training based at Cairngorm during the winter. Find out more here.

Season 2026/27
Here is an overview of camps we plan to run in 2026/27. These camps are all subject to minimum numbers.
October Glacier Camp | Hintertux, AUT
From c. £1,300*/week inlier | £TBC/day outlier

Autumn on the glaciers is the perfect time to kick-start the season with dedicated training time and no races. Hintertux offers the perfect pre-season environment for learning how to go faster, adjusting tactics and building strong technique. Plus, the valley is full of great spaces for afternoon fitness, and our team base supports ski tuning & video analysis.
New Year Camp | Verbier, SUI
From c. £1,500/week inlier | £TBC/day outlier
Training week: Sun 27 Dec 2026 – Sun 3 Jan 2027
Race week: Sun 3 – Sun 10 Jan 2027
This year we are heading to Verbier/La Tzoumaz for a full week of training, ahead of the Anglo Scottish Championships BASS & minis races (subject to confirmation of the race calendar).
We will have access to great training slopes, and plentiful freeskiing in the expansive Les 4 Vallées ski area.
February Half-Term Camp | Bormio, ITA
From c. £1,500/week inlier | £TBC/day outlier
Training week: Sat 6 – Sat 13 Feb 2027
Race week: Sat 13 – Sat 20 Feb 2027
We’ll be back in the 2026 Olympic venue of Bormio for the parents’ favourite weeks! There will be a full training week, followed by a week of training and races for U10-U16.
Across Bormio, Oga, and Santa Caterina, there’s so much to explore.
Easter Camp | Santa Caterina, ITA

With another full training week, followed by a mixed training & racing (for U10-U16) week, the British champs is sure to be a great opportunity again, even for a first camp!
