Easter Camp 2026

Sun 29 Mar – Wed 15 Apr 2026
Santa Caterina, ITA

This Easter we will be in the quaint resort of Santa Caterina, the fantastic new venue of the British Children’s Championship races organised by GB Snowsport.

After a hugely successful first year, we are really looking forward to being back. Last year, the race hill set up perfectly each day with melt-freeze conditions, whilst the training lanes higher up the mountain stayed consistent with cold, winter snow. It could not have been better!

Schedule & Races

Sun 29 Mar – Sat 4 Apr will be a full week of training.
Sun 5 Apr will be a day off/travel day.
Mon 6 Apr will be a training day for everyone.
Tue 7 – Tue 14 Apr are when the races are scheduled for. Not all age groups are racing each day, so those not racing will be training.

You are responsible for entering the races yourself. You must have a valid BASS competitor registration and enter online by the deadline to attend the camp. The races are the GB Alpine Children’s Championships. See GBSki for details »

About The Camp

Staff

Head Coach Calum Shepherd leads the team for this camp. Check out our coaching team here »

Join This Camp

All camp attendees must be a member of Scottish Ski Club for the season the camp happens within. You can join this camp for individual or multiple weeks.

The camp is open to all good skiers aged U10-U16 (see GBSki for year-of-birth-based age groups). Athletes can attend the camp as an inlier (all-inclusive residential camp) or as an outlier (coaching on the hill each day only). We would encourage all athletes aged U12 and older to join on a residential (inlier) basis to get the most out of the camp. U10s are welcome as outliers, as well as any older trainees not joining as inliers. We do not normally take U8s on Alpine camps, and they cannot enter the races.

For both inliers and outliers, a £500 deposit is necessary to register for the camp. The remainder of the balance is due 2 weeks before the camp. All payments are by bank transfer.

Pricing

We want to keep our camps costs as low as possible, and are priced to break even. In some circumstances we may be able to reduce the price, depending on numbers and camp expenditure.

This camp is subject to minimum numbers – place your deposit now to avoid disappointment!

Inlier (residential camp)

From £1,500* per week

*If there is a lot of interest in the camp, we may be able to reduce this!

More About This Camp

Camp Objectives

Although these are the ‘British champs’, they are really just further BASS/minis racing opportunities. Santa Caterina is a quiet resort at this time of year, with great free skiing and plenty of access to a variety of training lanes.

Team Base

The SSC team base is TBC, but we have options right at the bottom of the gondola and Deborah Compagnoni race piste.

The EU is phasing in its electronic Entry/Exit System (EES) for Schengen-zone countries this season. This will have an impact on all those travelling to and from camps on a UK passport.
